This 100% plant-based bamboo toothbrush is an easy swap if you’re trying to reduce plastic use. Every part of Brush with Bamboo’s kid’s toothbrush is plant-based: bristles, handle, wrapper and box.

Most manual toothbrushes are made of plastic and, if we follow the advice of our dentists, should be replaced every three months. This means that in the UK alone, that’s a potential 264 million brushes thrown away every year. Sadly, like so much other plastic, discarded toothbrushes often end up in waterways and oceans.

The soft bristles are made from castor bean oil and the handle is made from 100% sustainable (and organic) bamboo. The wrapper around the brush is plant-based and compostable, and the box is made from paper (no glue or tape is used)
